Product & operating costs
Revenue, discounts & buyer shipping

Item revenue is list price minus your discount. The platform-funded discount replaces buyer payment; it is not extra revenue. Buyer item payment = list price − seller discount − platform discount.

Marketplace, creator & payment fees

Enter Amazon fulfillment costs from the official calculator. The TikTok US preset has no extra processing fee. Enter Shopify third-party transaction charges separately. Presets are not account quotes.

Refunds, retained fees & recovered stock

One item per order, full refunds only. US reference refund admin = min(original referral fee × 20%, $5) × refunded orders. Override for exemptions. Recovered stock reduces consumed COGS; it does not return purchase cash. Enter only seller-paid extra return shipping, repacking and restocking costs, without duplicating other handling costs. No customer restocking charge is assumed. Costs are per refunded order; use an average when some refunds do not involve a physical return.

Where expenses are paid & tax assumptions

Tax provision is an editable cost, not jurisdiction-specific tax accounting. Customer tax in the processing base increases only processing charges; it is not revenue.

FX & CNY outcome

CNY sourcing costs stay fixed in CNY. USD operating expenses use reference FX. Inputs are planning assumptions.
